Overview
The ENHANCE project (2016 – 2020), under the direct technical support from International Labor Organization (ILO), aims to support the Vietnamese government to counter child labor. It targets in three major levels: national and provincial decision makers and policy makers; local authorities/stakeholders at provincial, district and commune levels as well as the communities and the general public through a wide range of traditional and innovative communication approaches. At the beginning of the project, a baseline survey on knowledge, attitude and practice (KAP) concerning child labor was conducted. And in order to measure the changes in the knowledge, attitudes and practices of the project target groups as the result of the project intervention, the KAP survey is repeated. The survey conducts 51 in-depth interviews, and 29 focus group discussion with the key informants from the relevant government agencies, a quantitative survey with sample size of 1176 households, 385 children under 18 years old with the permission of their parent, and 191 journalists, officers in state management agencies and business associations
