DEPOCEN has conducted research projects on a wide range of issues from macroeconomic policies, public finance, public policy, corporate innovation and competitiveness, econometric modelling and forecasting, trade liberalization, public service, to state-of-the-art impact evaluation of intervention programs in poverty reduction, household welfare, education, public health, water supply and sanitation, and survey methods. Our research outputs have been published in international refereed journals.

DEPOCEN has signed strategic partnership agreements with a number of international think-tanks, such as Oxford Economics (UK) and the Korean Institute of Economic Policy (South Korea). DEPOCEN has also established partnerships with internationally-known institutions including the University of Lancaster, the Institute of Development Studies under the University of Sussex, Centre d’Economie de la Sorbonne-CES, Maison des Sciences Economiques, and the Policy Studies Institute. DEPOCEN since 2014 has become an institution member of the EGAP network (http://e-gap.org/), an international network specialised in survey and impact evaluation managed by the University of Columbia and University of California at Berkeley. Since 2008 we have been the organiser and host of the Vietnam Economist Annual Meeting (http://www.veam.org).
