Vietnam Economist Annual Meeting (Hanoi, 2022) – Call for Papers

The Vietnam Economist Annual Meeting (VEAM) is an annual meeting organized for economists and social researchers around the world to present their scholarly works. In 2022, Foreign Trade University Hanoi (FTU)Development and Policies Research Center (DEPOCEN) and French National Center for Scientific Research (CNRS) will be hosting the Vietnam Economist Annual Meeting (VEAM 2022).

Keynote speakers for the event

  1. Professor Quoc-Anh Do (Department of Economics, Monash University, Australia)
  2. Professor Van-Phu Nguyen (EconomiX, University Paris Nanterre, France)
  3. Professor Luigi Mittone (Department of Economics and Management, University of Trento, Italy)
  4. Professor Robert Breunig (Tax and Transfer Policy Institute, Crawford School of Public Policy)

The conference is now open to registration and paper submission. Submission and registration are free for presenters of accepted papers. All papers must be submitted in English by September 30, 2022 (5pm Hanoi time). Financial support for accommodations is available on a limited and first come first served basis. Priority is given to PhD students and early career researchers.

All submitted papers for VEAM will be reviewed by the Scientific Committee. The accepted papers will be uploaded on the VEAM’s website  (veam.org).

Results of the review process will be announced after the deadline day. Authors whose papers are selected will be invited to present their work at the conference. All presentations are in English.
