Optimal Growth Models – November 12, 2022

In this course, three basic growth models will be presented:

Harrod-Domar Model (Harrod, 1939, 1948. Domar, 1946,1947),
Solow Model (Solow, 1956),
Ramsey Model (Ramsey, 1928).

Economic policies to focus on:

The public spendings. In particular, with Ramsey Model, we show that the impacts of public spendings change with the date of the announcement of the policy.

Covid shock

GS. Lê Văn Cường hiện là Giáo sư danh dự (Professor Emeritus) tại Trường Kinh tế Paris (Paris School of Economics), Giám đốc nghiên cứu danh dự của Trung tâm Quốc gia nghiên cứu khoa học Pháp (CNRS).
Giáo sư đã giữ nhiều vị trí quan trọng như: Phó Giám đốc Khoa học, phụ trách Kinh tế học và Ngôn ngữ học của Trung tâm Quốc gia nghiên cứu khoa học Pháp (CNRS).
Tới nay, Giáo sư đã công bố 100 công trình khoa học thuộc 3 lĩnh vực: Kinh tế toán, mô hình tăng trưởng tối ưu và mô phỏng kinh tế vĩ mô.
