In the fields of economic, financial, and social research and analysis, the application of data analysis and data science has become an inevitable trend.

Stata is a widely used software package for quantitative analysis and statistics. Thanks to its user-friendly interface and continuous updates with new features, Stata is favored by both beginners and professional data analysts. It is a popular language among researchers, particularly in fields such as economics, sociology, political science, epidemiology, and more.

The Data Analysis in Stata course is an introductory Stata course designed to equip learners with the fundamental skills needed to process and analyze data using this software. Students will become familiar with Stata’s interface and key commands for essential data analysis tasks, such as data import and export, data cleaning, statistical description, and data visualization.
In addition, learners will have the opportunity to practice by solving exercises based on the instructor’s real-world data handling experience.

– Review foundational knowledge in statistics, econometrics, and data analysis
– Develop skills in collecting, organizing, processing, analyzing, and describing data using Stata
– Practice with your own project dataset, with guidance from the instructor

Data Analysis with Stata Course

Language of Instruction:
Lectures and discussions will be conducted in Vietnamese; course materials and textbooks will be in English.

Hands-on practice with Stata software using real-world case studies and datasets.

Class Schedule:
9 sessions, Thursday and Saturday evenings, from 7:30 PM to 9:30 PM (Vietnam time) on the following dates:
June 15, 17, 22, 24, 29; July 1, 6, 8, 15.

Format:
Online via Zoom. Each session will be recorded and the recordings will be shared with students.
