Overview

The primary purpose of this assignment is to provide systematic data on the extent and nature of publication of information by universities. The assignment is expected to ultimately help clarify the key weaknesses that are hindering more thorough transparency and provide a data point against which to measure future progress. 5 group discussions and the survey of 500 students of 5 schools were conducted to provide inputs for the study. In addition, the research team also conducts online-check of information disclosure of websites of 123 universities across Vietnam

Description of actual services provided by your staff within the assignment:

  • The protocols or interview guides as well as the student survey questionnaire for the assessment of publication of information to be verified through such case studies based on site visits
  • A schedule and plan interviews as well as the limited questionnaire survey
  • 5 case studies for in-depth analysis on the transparency of information assessed through the university website
  • A synthesis report based on all the case studies.
