Overview
This survey aims to provide MoJ and NLD with a comprehensive and objective understanding about the practical situation, including obstacles, inadequacies and weaknesses, and recommendations to support the development of the new consolidated Law on Promulgation of the LNDs in Vietnam. The study engaged participation and inputs of legal officials of 10 ministries and ministerial-level agencies, and local legal officials in five provinces – Tuyen Quang, Da Nang, Quang Ngai, Dong Nai and Ho Chi Minh city – participated in the qualitative survey (key informant interview and focus group discussion) and quantitative survey (questionnaire).
Services provided
- Literature review of the two Laws and their guiding documents
- Research design: To assess the impact of the two Laws and their guiding documents on the development, completion and implementation of laws in Vietnam; To assess the impact of the two Laws on socio-economic development of the countries and implementation of international treaties
- Conducting both qualitative and quantitative survey on the drafting and promulgation process of LNDs.
- Data analysis and writing report.
