Final Evaluation of Project Integration of Gender Equality in Decent Work Legislation and Policies in Vietnam

Overview
The final evaluation aims to assess the achievements of the “Project Integration of Gender Equality in Decent Work Legislation and Policies in Vietnam” both at output and outcome level with special focus on the impact of the project in gender equality integration when developing legislations on labour and social issues in general and decent work in particular; as well as to assess its relevance and sustainability and specific recommendations for possible further initiatives that build on this project’s results. The semi-structured interviews were carried out with about 60 people, including all nine Implementation Partners (e.g. Vocational Training General Department (Department of Legislation and Inspectorate, and Vocational Training Accreditation Agency), Outside stakeholders (AFD, UNICEF, UNFPA, UN-Women, Ministry of Education and Training, Vietnam General Confederation of Labour, VCCI), the Project Directors and Dornor, the PMU, and a range of benificiaries: Journalists, Vocational Training School, and industrial employer, and employees.
