End of Project Evaluation for Community Development Project

Overview
The two Community Development projects in Tien Giang and Tra Vinh provinces aim at addressing local community of Tan Phu Dong and Tieu Can districts taking responsibility for developing their own lives and improving the quality of life for sustainable proverty reduction from 2013 to 2017. The projects focus on working with livelihood, health, environment and education sectors to improve the living conditions for the target groups, that are the poor farmers and children in the local community. At the end of projects, the evaluation to evaluate the performance, outcomes and lession learnt that the project obtained after 5-year implementation was conducted with expected to provide evidences for contribution of the project to the achievements of Mission Alliances cross cutting-issues, including gender equality, disability inclusion and climate justice. The final evaluation focuses on main 6 criteria, including relevance, effectiveness, efficiency, impact, sustainability, and crosscutting factors. In January, 2018, DEPOCEN was selected by NMA-V to evaluate the CD projects in Tien Giang and Tra Vinh. The mixed method of both quantitative survey and qualitative survey with desk review of relevant materials.
