Overview
The objective of this research is to contribute to implementing Save Children Vietnam Country Office’s Strategic Plan, including but not limited to:
• Identify real situation, gaps in needs and/or demands of accessing to correct information and friendly services of Adolescent sexual and reproductive healthcare as well as knowledge, attitudes and practices and related factors to support for improving this issue.
• Support the development of intervention ideas/ models to improve Adolescent sexual and reproductive health among ethnic minority and people living with disability (PWD) groups.
This research aims at answering the following questions:
• RQ1. What is the current status of knowledge, attitude and practice (KAP) on Adolescent sexual and reproductive healthcare of ethnic minority and people living with disability (PWD) groups and factors influence?
• RQ2. What are the needs and/or demands for Adolescent sexual and reproductive healthcare services of target groups?
• RQ3. What are the gender, cultural and socio-economic factors as barriers (including the impacts of COVID-19), facilitators, opportunities and resources that influence adoption of healthy Adolescent sexual and reproductive healthcare practices of ethnic minority and PWD groups in Vietnam?
• RQ4. What are the good practices of Adolescent sexual and reproductive health (ASRH) in Vietnam and are potential to replicate into program running by SCIVN?
