In 2022,\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.ftu.edu.vn\/\">Foreign Trade University Hanoi (FTU)<\/a>,\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/depocen.org\/en\/\">Development and Policies Research Center (DEPOCEN)<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.cnrs.fr\/\">French National Center for Scientific Research (CNRS)<\/a>\u00a0will be hosting the\u00a0<strong>Vietnam Economist Annual Meeting\u00a0(VEAM 2022).<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Time:\u00a0<\/strong>November 22-25, 2022<\/li>\n<li><strong>Location:<\/strong>\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.ftu.edu.vn\/\">Foreign Trade University Hanoi (FTU)<\/a>, Hanoi, Vietnam.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Keynote speakers for the event<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><strong>Professor<\/strong>\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/veam.org\/announcement\/prof-quoc-anh-do-keynote-speaker-for-veam-2022\/\"><strong>Quoc-Anh Do\u00a0<\/strong><\/a>(Department of Economics, Monash University, Australia)<\/li>\n<li><strong>Professor<\/strong>\u00a0<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/veam.org\/announcement\/prof-van-phu-nguyen-keynote-speakers-for-veam-2022\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Van-Phu Nguyen<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0(EconomiX, University Paris Nanterre, France)<\/li>\n<li><strong>Professor<\/strong>\u00a0<strong><a href=\"http:\/\/veam.org\/announcement\/prof-luigi-mittone-keynote-speakers-for-veam\/\">Luigi Mittone<\/a>\u00a0<\/strong>(Department of Economics and Management, University of Trento, Italy)<\/li>\n<li><strong>Professor\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/veam.org\/announcement\/prof-robert-breunig-keynote-speaker-for-veam-2022\/\">Robert Breunig\u00a0<\/a><\/strong>(Tax and Transfer Policy Institute, Crawford School of Public Policy)<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>The conference is now open to registration and paper submission.\u00a0<strong>Submission and registration<\/strong>\u00a0<strong>are\u00a0free<\/strong>\u00a0for presenters of accepted papers. All papers must be submitted\u00a0<strong>in English<\/strong>\u00a0by<strong>\u00a0September 30, 2022 (5pm Hanoi time). Financial support for accommodations is available on a limited and first come first served basis.\u00a0<\/strong>Priority is given to PhD students and early career researchers.<\/p>\n<p>All submitted papers for\u00a0<strong>VEAM<\/strong>\u00a0will be reviewed by the Scientific Committee. The accepted papers will be uploaded on the<strong>\u00a0VEAM\u2019s website\u00a0<\/strong>\u00a0(<a href=\"http:\/\/veam.org\/\">veam.org<\/a>).<\/p>\n<p>Results of the review process will be announced after the deadline day. Authors whose papers are selected will be invited to present their work at the conference.
