An assessment of compliance cost of administrative procedures in customs

Overview

In promoting the reform of administrative procedures in accordance with the Government’s direction to reduct costs for the business community, while improving the efficiency of the state management of customs, Vietnam customs and USAID Trade Facilitation Program would like to conduct this evaluation survey of Customs Procedure Compliance Cost.

The survey covers customs procedures (at General Department, Departmental and Sub-departmental levels) your firm carried out from the beginning of 2019 to the time of the survey. The survey result will help customs authorities study and propose solutions to further reform customs procedures, reduce compliance costs for the business community, and improve integrity and transparency in customs clearance.

For two months of survey (September and October), there are total of 633 enterprises providing response (via both mail survey and online), equivalent to 1,368 answered questionnaires.
