ASSESSMENT TOOLS FOR SOCIAL AUDIT - ATSA

 

1. Objectives and expected results of the training

The main objective of the training is to enrich the participants with knowledge and basic understanding on economic, politics, methods and skills on using the tools in participatory monitoring public expenditure and assessing the quality of public services.

At the end of the training, participants are expected to be able to:

  • Have ability to assess the training needs of the community and stakeholders in the field of Public Expenditure Monitoring, Public Services and Governance.
  • Understand and convey the basic concepts of economic.
  • Understand and convey more functions of economic and the decisions affecting the local economy and development dynamics in the regions.
  • Understand and can add to the concept of training and the budget process.
  • Implement and guide other budget analysis
  • Be able to provide training on application of participatory methods and different tools (Economic Analysis, Household Budget Analysis, Public Expenditure Tracking Survey, Citizens Report Card, Community Score Car etc.).
  • Carry out the assessment of local public services.

2. Target audience

The ATSA training course is designed and developed for staff from local and international non-governmental organizations, CSOs, research& policy development institutions. Especially, the government officials and social enterprises are encouraged to participate.

3. Duration

03 days, to be expected on 13 to 15 May 2016

Office of Development & Policy Research Centre, 12 Trang Thi Street, Hanoi
