The Hanoi Summer School in Economics 2010 officially concluded on 27 August 2010, ending eleven days of valuable economic collaboration and knowledge exchange.



The 2010 Vietnam Economists Annual Meeting was the largest yet, attracting researchers, PhD candidates and professors from both Vietnam and abroad. A variety of high quality and innovative research papers were submitted and discussed.



After 06 times of successfully organizing in Japan, Taiwan, Singapore, China, the Seventh Asian General Equilibrium Theory Workshop (GETA2010) will be jointly held by DEPOCEN and its partners at the Institute of Mathematics, Hanoi on 30-31 August 2010




Today, July 27th 2010, the representatives of DEPOCEN, Mr. Anh Nguyen Ngoc and Mr. Nhat Nguyen Duc participated in K48 Graduation Ceremony of Statistics Faculty, the National Economics University



The 2010 Hanoi Summer School in Economics is underway. A range of informative and thought provoking lectures have already been delivered, with more to come over the following days.



Vietnam Economist Annual Meeting (VEAM) 2010 Initiative provides high-quality research and papers across a range of economic and development issues and brings together economists, researchers and people who are interested in sharing related knowledge and experience. The 3rd VEAM will be organized on 24-25 August 2010 in the Central Region of Vietnam by Development and Policies Research Center (DEPOCEN) and other international and local institutions. Now VEAM is calling for papers…



Vietnam Trade Promotion Agency – VIETRADE co-works with DEPOCEN to produce the annual report on export promotion.



This course was successful with the participation of numerous students from research centers and organizations such as Economic Department, Military Bank



The workshop is one part in World Bank’s Support to Strengthening Research Evidence for the Formulation of National Socio-Economic Development Strategy 2011-2020 of Vietnam.



Researchers (Anh Nguyen Ngoc , Nhat Nguyen Duc , Chuc Nguyen Dinh , Ngoc Pham Quang )  at DEPOCEN contributed two important chapters in the book



The purpose of this conference is to discuss on the implications of the post-crisis environment for fiscal policy issues in Asia.



The Opening speech was delivered by Prof., Dr. Chau Hoang Van, President of FTU and Prof. Cuong Le Van, Director of Centre d’Economie de la Sorbonne (CES), Paris, France.

During the two days training course, DEPOCEN Training series provides various modules such as “How to analyze social data in SPSS”; “How to interpret the results” and “how to understand from Questionnaire into SPSS”



The Development and Policies Research Center (DEPOCEN) hosted the “With Exhaustible Resources, Can A Developing Country Escape From The Poverty Trap?” seminar by Prof. Le Van Cuong

DEPOCEN Training Series have tutored the Fundamental Statistics and SPSS application in environmental data analysis




DEPOCEN Training Series hosts the fundamental Statistics and STATA application in data collection and analysis for Researchers and Officials of Rural Development Center (RUDEC) under Institute of Policy and Strategy for Agriculture and Rural Development



The Development and Policies Research Center (Depocen) hosts a training course on“General equilibrium” analysis by Prof. Cuong Le Van – Research Director at FrenchNational Center for Scientific Research (CNRS), University of Paris 1 Pantheon-Sorbonne.



At the invitation of DEPOCEN, Professor Vu Minh Khuong, Singapore National University gave a lecture about public policy



In this course, DEPOCEN introduced research methods to lecturers and students of Foreign Trade University (FTU)
