Development and Policies Research Center (Depocen)

is an in dependent institution for development research and policy studies.The center provides accurate and timely information as well as objective and professional analysis, on various socio-economic and poverty issues.

On the cutting edge of social and economic transition, Vietnam is seeking integrated momentum from the co operative triangle of government research, innovation centers and enterprises. Depocen is one of the pioneers in this field offering standard observation and analysis in the pursuit of sound policy recommendations. Adding to this are Depocen's combined strengths of Western educated talent and a comprehensive understanding of the Vietnamese and regional context.

Given the fellows' experiences in the public and private sectors as well as the diversity of their backgrounds, which include majors such as trade, youth employment and other aspects of economic development, Depocen facilitates data collection and analysis with cost and time efficiency. Beyond consulting services, professional staff in other NGOs and research centers could employ Depocen's expertise to perform their own research tasks, such as by benefiting from our research guidelines and introductory courses.

• DEPOCEN provides statistical guidance and services for both academic and business research. The Center has worked on many projects with industry, the academic research community and government agencies. We have tackled both traightforward questions that can be answered on the spot and more challenging and complex research questions that can take months or even years of collaboration between the Center's staff and other researchers. Our statistical consulting efforts have resulted in many fruitful research collaborations and significant research outputs.
